The “Ercole Moretti & Fratelli” was established in 1911 by the three brothers Moretti Ercole, Norberto and Iginio, with the idea of producing two classic types of glass pearls: the “Rosetta” and the mosaic “Millefiori”.
In many years, thanks to the collaboration of the sons and grandsons of the founders, who succeed with enthusiasm in the family business, the product range has been greatly enhanced: to the “Rosetta” and the “Millefiori” were added many other Venetian pearls as mosaic “Africa”, the “Sommerso”, the “Fiorato”, the pearls with aventurine, with gold and silver leaf, imitations of semiprecious stones and others. Between the ’40s and’ 60s it was produced also imitation of natural pearls.
The process of murrina has always been a favorite and led, in the early 70s, to the production of the charms, which have aroused immediate interest for the originality of the idea and perfect execution. Later they were presented plates and bowls, refined objects which reflect the complex and captivating technique of Romans murrini glasses.

The Ercole Moretti murano is the third dealership of the logo Marchio del Vetro artistico di Murano, which protects the best artists of this age-old tradition.
