Venice Design Week is trying to explore the relationship between design and innovation dedicating a whole section to 3D printing: it allows, starting from a modeling software, the creation of a model in real scale. 3D printing is born at the beginning of XXI century and it has revolutionized the world of models, giving the possibility to create an economic and fast way to cread 3D objects, useful in several sectors: from food sector to domestic, but also for spatial sector and constructions.
The expert engineer Paolo Foletto will hold for VDW public a stimulating presentation meeting on Wednesday 7th October at 10.00 at Fabbrica del Vedere.

The presentation will last 2 hours and it’ll be about the application of 3D printing and the passage from creation to final object. The revolution is arriving also in the food sector: 3D printing is used to produced healthy and fresh food, better and more wholesome than the industrial one.

The engineer will do an interesting workshop during which some of these innovative techniques can be applied on Friday 9th October starting from 9 am, always at Fabbrica del Vedere.

The goal is : showing visitors how to create a three-dimensional object starting from the basic planning and design.
