Bassano Del Grappa, Italy
Born in Bassano del Grappa in 1982, Alberto Lago graduated with a bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Padua in 2004. He continued the study with a join Master of Science in Civil Engineer between the University of Padua and the University of California Los Angeles in 2007. In 2008 he moved to Los Angeles for a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and then continue the studies with a Ph.D. in Earthquake Engineering at the Rose School in Pavia that was completed in 2011. His academic career was completed in 2015 with a Master of Science in Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research at the Institute of Computational Design in the University of Stuttgart.He several working experience in Engineering/Architecture since he worked in 2008 for Englekirk and Sabol Engineering, 2010 Werner Sobek, and from 2011 to 2014 for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in San Francisco. Since 2013 is a freelance designer and architect trying to merge his engineering specialities with an internatioanl flavour gained through his experiences around the world. He has published several scientific articles as well as partecipate to innumerate design competition all aroud the world.
