Giulio Iacchetti has been an industrial designer since 1992. He also carries a designer, he alternates teaching in many Italian and foreign universities and design schools. In his twenty-year career he has received several international awards including the Compasso d’ oro in 2001 for biodegradable multipurpose cutlery ” Moscardino” designed by Matteo Ragni (now the work is part of the permanent design exhibition at MOMA, New York) and in 2014 for the series of manholes ” Sfera ” always designed with Matteo Ragni for Montini .
Always attentive to the evolution of the relationship between craftsman and designer , Iacchetti launches in 2012 the Internoitaliano project, a so-called ” diffuse factory ” made of many craft workshops with which signature and creates furniture and accessories inspired to do and how to Italians living.
