Venice Design Week, for the second year, exhibits contemporary jewelry at Ca’ Pisani Design Hotel. The exhibition hosts nine artists and explores different materials. Maria Cristina Fabbri with Gerhard Franken and Pino Lena of gruppo a-quattro and Fernando Betto of Oficinadarte exhibit rings, bangles and necklace made of gold, silver and precious types of wood. Antonio Massarutto proposes its research about bronze and Etruscan art; Corrado De Meo presents pins and a volumetric bangle. made using very light materials covered in silver and bronze. An euphoric touch is given by the intense necklaces in polished ceramic of Stefania Silvagni. Murano Glass made its appearence with the black necklace with sea urchin of Stefano and Daniele Attombri, with the aquamarine glazed glass of Patrizia Icovazzi of Perlamadre and the jewels decorated with “murrine” of Kira Seiden. Moreover Manù Brunello presents some of its jewels which reuse ancient perls. The exposition continues till 12th October in the piano nobile of Ca’ Pisani.
