History of the Island:
Isola delle Rose is the youngest island in the Venetian lagoon and it was ‘created’ in 1870. In 2010 JW Marriott envisaged a luxury resort and it opened in 2015 to huge acclaim and awards. In 1936 the Isola delle Rose welcomes the arrival of Vittorio Emanuele III and in 1980 the clinic was closed definitively.

How to reach the island:
Private island in Venice – Isola delle Rose – 20 minutes from St. Mark’s Square, the luxury Resort in Venice provides a complimentary shuttle service which easily connects the island to the heart of the town. The private pier in St. Mark’s Square is located just in front of the Royal Gardens.
