Karin Heimberg studied after her apprenticeship as a goldsmith at the „Staatliche Zeichenakademie Hanau“ in the bachelor- and master programs of „Applied Art and Design“ at the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. Currently, she lives and works in Düsseldorf.
For several times Karin Heimberg worked in cooperation with fashion designers and up-coming labels, developing showpieces and accessories.

The jewellery designed by Karin Heimberg is characterized through the interaction of minimalism and decorative elements. Simplicity, straight lines and optical effects meet ornamental details with ethnic influences.
In her collections, the designer combines traditional craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques and balances both areas. Carefully selected and mindful combined materials are characteristic for her jewellery and always emphasise the aesthetics of the individual pieces.
