The Kiev-based designer Kostantin Kofta has already succeeded in becoming a well-known name in fashion with his leather accessories that challenge concepts as functionalism and wear-ability through their unconventional forms. Bags with reminiscent of human spines, screaming faces, hands and other body parts exhibited in totally original ways. Kofta works meticulously, from the research of materials to their treatment. He studied at “Central St. Martins”, where he first had the opportunity to approach design from a perspective that allowed him to experiment on many different levels. Kofta recently unveiled a special collaboration with Beijing-based motorcycle manufacturer “Bandit9”. A rucksack from his current collection was captured by Wing Chan for the promotion of “EVE”, a limited edition motorcycle with only 9 units produced.
