Laura Forte was born in Copertino in 1982, she studied in Lecce Applied Art Jewelry at the Goldsmith Art School. She went on further studies at the institute IRIGEM getting a certificate as a qualified goldsmith designer. She attended specialized courses and various stages in prestigious jewellers of the Vicentino. In 2005 She opened a laboratory in the city where she was born. Awarded in various international competitions.
