Born in Italy in 1965, he studied architecture at the University of Florence. Marco founded “MROffice” in Città di Castello in 1992 . Since its founding, the studio has been devoted to product design, consulting and architecture. Throughout the years the studio has been recognised for its furniture design, its interior design projects and its products. He has a special interest in climate responsive design and sustainability.
Vip is dedicated to those (many) who have to support other people’s arses!
Vip represents a black or white man who is trying to survive and not drown.
It has a slender structure, just like life.
The seat is made from rattan with a delicate, soft and silky velvet. V.I.P!!
Black and White because the unfortunate can be either!
Portantina XXI 2
Portantina is a sofà. It’s a modern reinterpretation of the old sedan chairs that carried kings and important people until 300 B.C. and that changed many times during centuries, until those adorned richly in 800. The structure is realized with iron tubolar cut with laser and silver varnished, the sitting is in new wool Kvadrat, yellow and green. The handles are printed in 3D PLA (in polylactic acid obtained from corn and recyclable).
