Fano, Italy

Marta Montesi was born in Fano, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino (Marche), on the 14th of January 1989. She attended the school of art “Adolfo Apolloni” , and later she earn a bachelor’s degree in product design at IUAV of San Marino, a branch of the IUAV of Venezia. Now she recently graduated in industrial design at IUAV of Venice, there she attended some courses of medical design. In the years of formation she completed her abilities and competences thanks to academic teachers, professional and well known in the field, like Riccardo Blummer, Giulio Iacchetti, Medardo Chiapponi, Maddalena Mometti, Lorenzo Secco, Riccardo Varini and Alberto Bassi. She took part thanks to her task and passion in some competitions, like “Riva 1920”, “Ceramiche made in Umbria” and “Pesto e Mortaio” with Adi of Genova, there they temporary exhibited her work.
