Massimo Marcomini graduated in architecture in 1999 from the university of Ferrara. During the architect’s academic career he had frequent opportunities to meet with the real ‘stars’ of design: Achille Castiglioni, Ignazio Gardella, Santiago Calatrava, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgioioso, Pierre De Meuron and others, who from the beginning of the course encouraged experimentation with the concreteness of design. An independent professional man by nature, since the fateful meeting with his partner in 2001, he has dedicated himself to the expression of his artistic gift through architecture, design, and writing fields. For Marcomini Marconato he is creative director of the Studio, and he focuses his attention on design choices for the resolution of functional questions and contemporary satisfaction of his clients’ aesthetic and expressive needs. Since 2008 he has also been regularly devoted to, in the name of ‘totally made in Italy’, the design and production of high profile furniture collaborating with Italian furniture factories.
