In the meeting the speakers are invited to discuss the problem of mobility today. In particular, we invite Next Future Transportation to intervene and present the electric vehicles, designed by them, whose peculiarity is not autonomous driving, but modularity. The vehicles that are able to work individually as taxis or cars in sharing when and where in needed, but also capable of joining in long convoys to act as trams or capacious buses, at rush hour and in the places where  there is one route is needed. This is a flexible mobility that is modeled in real time on the needs of the city and users.

Speakers:

Lucio Bonafede (engineer). Graduated in civil transport engineering at the University of Padua, in 1988 he began his career as a freelance engineer in the field of bridge and road design with conservation. It was in the city of Padua that he intervened as co-designer for the Padua Metrobus. He was a member of several university commissions , was a extraordinary professor (icar 10) and President of the Degree Course in Civil and Environmental Engineering from 2014 to 2016 at the eCampus University.
He is also the owner of a design studio that carries out activities in Italy and abroad. He has won several architecture awards.

Tommaso Gecchelin (physicist and designer by training). He is fully dedicated to creating science-based products and services centered on user needs. After years of international experience for countless companies in the world as an innovation designer, he is now the founder and inventor of NEXT Future Transportation inc., A company that develops modular electric vehicles that optimize traffic up to 80% and consumption up to 50%.
