She was born in San José, Costa Rica in 1972 and lives in Verona since 2005. In 2003 graduated in Hisory at the University of Costa Rica, and consequentely in Applied History with emphasis on Power e Social Control before doing a Master in Resolution of Intercultural Conflicts  at the University of Verona, Italy. In Italy took part in a lot of workshops where she learned various techniques with wax and resins. She exhibited many pieces in Italy and New York.

Rêverie Brooch
Materials: sponge,resin,pigments,natural stones, silver.

“To be born again, to reinvent oneself” have always been her companions, especially since she left a life to rebuild another. In a certain way she had to meet death, yes, because as E. Haraucourt said ’Partir c’est mourir un peu’, to leave and start from scratch. She lost herself in a new world of fantasy, of surprise, of rêverie, of dream and of conscious loss to leave and live again. A second opportunity for serenity, joy of life, new forms and colors, as well as the materials of her creations, reused, reinterpreted to take on other uses and different meanings. A plane, the first means for her journey, made of sponge and thought of as a brooch, a symbol of freedom to wear, but also a memory of origin and the fruit of a resurrection.
