Venice Design week took part in the World Design Week summit in Milan 2019.The meeting was held at the Consulate of the Netherlands and the national representatives of the World Design Weeks took part in it. They worked at a ThinkTank to develop public engagement activities and to evaluate the activities carried out in order to improve the offer of services to the world of design and entertainment for the public.

Venice Design Week is part of the association and represents Italian design weeks in that venue.
