The Mokume Gane technique involves the application of the ancient Damascus technique, known since ancient times, in the non-ferrous metals . The special beauty of this technique lies in the wide range of colors and shades, that combine Jewelry with Magic and Power. In this ancient technique wonderful patterns are born combining different metals: Silver, Copper, yellow, white and red Gold. Combinations can be almost infinite. This process requires a deep knowledge of each metal used and how they combine together.
During the visit to the workshop “Bottega Orafa Abc” the participant, through the guide of the goldsmith Andrea D’Agostino, will have the opportunity to know more in depth this fascinating technique.
