Poplab is a research and development laboratory for architecture and design, that use the tools of digital manufacturing to make innovation. It is an innovative startup, accredited Research Center and academic spinoff of the IUAV University of Venice. Poplab guarantees the complete management of the project from the concept to the prototype, up to the coordination of the construction site for architectural projects and industrial production for design.

Cave is a customizable marble cladding system created to give value to every type of space. The wisdom in the cutting of the material and the innovation in the design process give life to a contemporary mosaic composed of always different algorithmic tiles. The cuts and chromatic variations wish to bring to mind the precious stratifications of matter and its slow transformation into marble.
